On a cloudy October day, Cassandre and Samuel chose to celebrate their wedding in Neuilly-sur-Seine, one of the most elegant suburbs just outside Paris. Known for its refined architecture and peaceful atmosphere, it offers a beautiful alternative for couples wishing to marry near the capital.
Set on a large paved square, the city hall stands slightly apart from traffic, creating a calm and welcoming setting. Guests naturally gathered outside before the ceremony, while the couple made their arrival in a classic vintage car – a graceful moment that instantly set the tone for the day !
Their celebration was intentionally intimate, shared with family and close friends.
I was delighted when Cassandre and Samuel chose me to photograph their wedding, as their vision perfectly matched my approach as a Paris-based wedding photographer, documenting modern love stories with elegance, simplicity and authenticity.
Modern Parisian bridal elegance
Cassandre opted for a tailored white pantsuit with delicate embroidered pearls – very Chanel style ! – a subtle nod to the timeless codes of Parisian couture. Modern and refined, her look offered a contemporary interpretation of bridal elegance.
Clean lines, soft textures and a minimal bouquet in white, beige and blush tones completed the silhouette – chic, natural and unmistakably Parisian.
In contrast with the bride’s ivory outfit, the groom chose a deep blue tailored suit. The combination felt balanced and effortless, bringing together modernity and classic elegance.
The guests embraced the same spirit throughout the day: refined silhouettes, thoughtful details and that discreet Parisian sense of style where elegance never feels overstated.
A ceremony marked by meaningful moments
Among the guests was someone truly special: Cassandre’s grandmother, more than a century old, who had made the journey to be present. Elegant and radiant, she followed the ceremony with visible joy, witnessing a new generation beginning its own story. A moving reminder of family bonds and transmission across generations.
Later in the day, another emotional moment unfolded during the speech given by the bride’s father. His sincere and heartfelt words brought visible emotion to his daughter’s face, creating one of those quiet, powerful moments that naturally become lasting memories.
Couple portraits in the streets around the city hall
After the ceremony, we walked through the streets surrounding the city hall for couple portraits.
Cassandre and Samuel wished for photographs that felt natural and spontaneous, without rigid posing. We adopted an urban and relaxed approach, allowing them to walk, talk and enjoy a calm moment together before heading to the reception.
Stone façades, soft autumn light and a striking blue Parisian door offered a simple yet graphic backdrops. The focus remained on movement, connection and authenticity — letting the couple be fully themselves.
A relaxed celebration by the River
The celebration continued with a convivial luncheon by the river, in an elegant and welcoming setting.
Hidden within lush greenery along the Seine, the venue evokes the spirit of a refined country house – a peaceful escape only minutes from Paris. Large fireplaces, a glass roof and a spacious terrace created a warm and luminous atmosphere.
Throughout the afternoon, speeches from parents and witnesses punctuated the meal, bringing laughter, emotion and shared memories. There was no strict schedule – simply the pleasure of being together and letting the day unfold naturally.
